Information and Requirements

Speech-Over requires Microsoft Office®  XP, 2003, 2007 or 2010.  Runs on Windows XP, Vista®, and Win 7.

For Office 2010: Speech-Over will run on a 64-bit operating system, when MS-Office is installed with the 32-bit option - See box below.

Speech-Over requires Microsoft .Net Framework 2 or higher.  It will be installed by Speech-Over if necessary.

Speech-Over dictation requires Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1. Download and install SpeechSDK51.exe from

www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=5e86ec97-40a7-453f-b0ee-6583171b4530&displaylang=en

Installation Notes:
1. Certain installations require admin privileges; if the installation fails, try installing with admin status.

2. After installing Speech-Over Professional, restart the computer.

3. Speech-Over controls appear in the PowerPoint menu or ribbon; there is no Speech-Over program icon.

The trial version can be registered and made permanent with the registration code obtained on purchase. Use the SpeechOver/Register menu item.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. For Office 2010 make sure Office is installed as a 32-bit version. See box below for instructions.

2. Click on the link under “Click to Download” above which corresponds to your version of MS Office.

3. Sign up for "Starting-Up Fast with Speech-Over" email series.

4. Download and save the Speech-Over exe file to a folder, for example, C:\temp

5. Double-click on the Speech-Over exe file to install Speech-Over.

6. On the registration screen, choose 30-Day Free Trial.

7. Open PowerPoint and see the Speech-Over controls on the PowerPoint ribbon or menu.

8. If Speech-Over doesn’t appear on the ribbon, click here.

· Alternate Download Method is more efficient and reliable for these large files. Download, install, and run the Free Download Manager (FDM). To download a file, drag its link above to the blue FDM rectangle on the bottom right of the screen. Save the file and double-click to install.

· Get Paul Trial Key: Business and education users: get the key for an unrestricted NeoSpeech Paul trial from the email series.

· Note: After installation, the Speech-Over controls appear on the PowerPoint  menu or ribbon. There is no Speech-Over program icon on the desktop.
